UPDATE: from Fred Julian

I think it would be a wonderful way to honor the memory of Greg Kimmell if we used the "Raisin Hell" t-shirt design he came up with that was banned by the all powerful LHS administration (it also has the added bonus of 80's nostalgia with the Cali raisins). I knew being a packrat would pay off at some point- please see the attached photos of the original. The lettering was on the front and the raisin was on the back. Maybe we could add class of '88 R.I.P. and the names of those classmates who have passed on. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in September.

Notes from Marc:

Good Afternoon all,

Disclaimer; if this email is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors.. it is because I cheated off all of you in school and never really learned anything…..ha ha.

Below are the minutes from the first meeting..  Our next meeting is scheduled for, Tuesday, May 13 2008 at 6:30p.m.  (20 years to the day and almost the time, of our graduation from high school) Thanks Jill (Bailey) Dossett for that observation. The meeting will take place at Guppy's (upstairs) in downtown Vincennes. Everybody is welcome, and we hope that everyone that can attend, do so. (Also I think that the meetings planning this event are probably going to be just as fun as the event, good time had by all at the first one)

Please pass this information on to any of our classmates that you have contact with.

Welcome to the many of you, of which this is your first email about the 20 year class reunion.

I am slowly getting the list complete as more people sign up,

I will be doing a short press release about the meeting Scheduled for the 13 th with the hope of catching some of the people that we do not have contact information on. I will include in that, the updated website info…

******Also******* To update everyone on the what is happening with the Homecoming celebration

There is a group that has been formed to move the Friday Homecoming celebration to the downtown. It will run from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight….  With the Executive closed indefinitely, the option to take it downtown was presented and the Vincennes Education Foundation was behind the move. The current Mayor and city council are in support of the measure not only with words but a little money.. The Chamber will pick up insurance cost….so on..

Also if you are in need of hotel space you will find lodging information at http://www.vincennescvb.org/

A new Hotel is currently under construction and will be open middle of June; unfortunately they will not take reservations until they open, when that happens I will get you the phone number.

Thanks,

Marc McNeece
