The time has come.
We've been struggling with the decision to turn the repeater system over for a while, and after 28 years it's hard to do. We enjoyed doing things different, trying remote receivers, linking before it was done digitally, and doing all the fancy higher tech stuff. But, we just can't keep up with it anymore.
Living so far away just wasn't logistically possible for me to tend to the repeater the way I would like.
So, the keys have been turned over to the Indiana Link South system in Washington. I know it's in good hands with Jerry and Andy, and they remind me of the things we used to do... trying new stuff, and trying to hold things to a high standard.
EARS will continue to exist online, and in a support role. Maybe I'll start up a new repeater system someday. But for now, the repeater side of things is coming to an end.
Thank you all for your support over the years.
